1 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. 2 He was with God in the beginning. 3 Through him all things were made; without him nothing was made that has been made.
John 1:1-3 NIV
For me, this is such an amazing scripture. It makes me think that every beginning must have a word, otherwise there will be no beginning; and for Believers, this word must be God-inspired for without Him, not even one thing can come into being.
How did everything that we see come into existence? From the Bible, we understand that the entire universe was framed at God’s command. By His Word, God created the world. (Hebrews 11:3, see also Psalm 33:6,9)
Are you a child of God? Like begets like, therefore if you are a child of God you came loaded with creative power within you. You can use the Word of God to create your world. If there is darkness in your world you can create light. What you want the same will you speak and declare. Let there be… and it shall be. (Genesis 1:3-27)
It is God’s Word that is formed in our hearts and vocalized by our mouths that becomes manifest. We must be established in God’s Word first, and then declare. You can ground or move anything by your mouth! There is a creative force in you and when you employ it, you will get the results that you want. Stop dwelling on the problem, focus on the result. Now the earth was formless and empty, darkness was over the surface of the deep, and the Spirit of God was hovering over the waters. – Genesis 1:2. Can you imagine if God settled for the void, formless, dark earth; He wouldn’t have created anything else!
I noticed that in verse 1 of Genesis chapter 1 it says, “In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth.” Then verse 2 says, “Now the earth was formless and empty…” I had to stop there for a moment. After God created the heavens and the earth, He still had to fill it up and bring it a point where He could say, “This is good.” This means that whatever you want, in line with God’s will, you do not always get it to perfection the first time you “create” it. For example, you created a business using the Word of God and by the same Word you will shape it into what a Godly business should be. The words of your mouth are seeds. How much of the Word of God you (believe in your heart and) speak determines your harvest. (See Luke 8:11). God is committed to His Word. When it falls on good soil, it grows. By it, by the mighty power of His command, by His powerful word, by the word of His power; He upholds and sustains everything!
When you have His Word, you will not mind the circumstances that are in your way, because you will say to the mountain, ‘Go, throw yourself into the sea,’ … what you say will happen, it will be done for you! (Mark 11:23) When you have his Word, no reason is strong enough to hold you on down; because you will say to the mountain, ‘Move from here to there,’ and it will move. Nothing will be impossible for you! (Matthew 17:20). When you discover that you have the creative power within you, you will wipe your tears, rise up; and then you will say to the mulberry tree, ‘Be uprooted and planted in the sea,’ and it will obey you! (Luke 17:6).
By His Word, using your mouth, you will create your new beginning!
