Re-Building The Fallen Walls

brokenFailure can give birth to success. To fall is a mistake but to remain falling is a reproach. Sometimes life happens and you may find yourself somewhere you didn’t intend to be – fallen. Your attitude when you’re down there will determine whether you rise up or not. Some people decide to sit in darkness, in utter darkness, prisoners suffering in iron chains… they consciously or unconsciously make the choice to remain down. More often than not these are the ones who enjoy dwelling in misery – expecting and wanting everyone to gather around them and be sorry for them every single time. You have risen above that, in the name of Jesus! Let your haters know that you won’t be throwing any more pity parties! That kind of party is over!

Do not gloat over me, my enemies! For though I fall, I will rise again. Though I sit in darkness, the LORD will be my light. – Micah 7:8 NLT

You are a Christian and there is no final fall for you! Because the Bible says concerning you that for though you fall seven times, you rise again! (Proverbs 24:16a) Every failure is just a pause for you; it is not a full stop. You’re just yielding for some things to pass so that you may proceed with your journey – it is not the end. There is room for continuity into accomplishment. Your determination to rise will open your eyes to see something more ahead.

“The bricks have fallen down,
But we will rebuild with hewn stones;
The sycamores are cut down,
But we will replace them with cedars.” – Isaiah 9:10 NKJV

Praise the Lord we will rebuild – this time with stronger and more permanent substance because though troubles may press us on every side, but we will not be crushed. Though we may be perplexed, we will not be driven to despair. Though everything seems to cave in on us, our God will never abandon us. Yes, we may even get knocked down, but we will not be destroyed. Praise the Lord we will rebuild the fallen walls!
